In 2020 Chelsea Bales was a stay at home mom, looking for a hobby. It was the year of Covid and she was looking for something to keep her mind busy, and she's always had a passion for scents, especially in the home. She always remembers homes that she has walked into that smell amazing, even years later that scent memory has stuck.

Chelsea approached her mom Lisa about doing this hobby together as a way for them to spend more time together. After a few failed attempts and some classes online that Lisa took. They finally nailed down their formula, and that is how Serendip Candles came to be. In 2022 they added Diane to their team, Chelsea's Aunt and Lisa's Sister in law, she has been a huge help in getting larger orders made. Then in 2024 Serendip absorbed a local candle company Carnelian Candle Co. run by Emily Teague. Emily now helps make bulk orders and will come to pop ups every now and then. She is working Full time at BG local schools, but still has a passion for candles and loves being part of the Serendip team

Serendip is sold in Several local stores, and specializes in scent branding for businesses. We believe that Scent is a huge asset when it comes to branding, it a way to create a lasting connection with customers
